Racemi Wins Gold in Tech Awards Circle CompetitionSecond award this year for provider of server imaging technology to automate data center operations
ATLANTA, July 27, 2010 – Racemi has been named the Gold winner in the Tech Awards Circle competition for the enterprise software category. Winners were selected by independent journalists with Gold winners automatically entered into an annual Product of the Year competition for additional recognition.
Racemi’s software is built to be integrated by OEM partners for usage by large enterprise customers in complex heterogeneous data centers. The Racemi software captures the entire “personality” of a system, including Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems, applications and the storage and network configurations, in a single bootable image. This image has the ability to automatically migrate to dissimilar hardware, including physical and virtual systems, while maintaining the personality of the original server.
Earlier this year, Racemi was named a 2010 New Technologies and Solutions finalist by Network Products Guide for technologies that exhibit latest enhancements and promising applications.
“The ability to automate operations and quickly capture, clone and migrate server images anywhere is becoming the must-have data center technology for cloud computing,” said Lawrence Guillory, Racemi’s chief executive officer. “We provide technology with the broadest support of physical and virtual servers that is capable of migrating workloads across all those servers, while at the same time automating configuration changes. For these reasons, it’s great to be recognized as the Gold winner in the enterprise software category.”
