Founded in 2001, Racemi has introduced a number of technology firsts, including patents covering the original server blade and utility computing technologies. Today, Racemi’s development team is applying its deep IT expertise to develop solutions that improve how data centers are deployed and managed.

Lawrence Guillory
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Guillory joins Racemi with a unique entrepreneurial background in the field of Sales and Marketing. His leadership in this area spans nearly 12 years of increasingly greater responsibility in the management and development of software companies. From 1994 –2000, he worked for Brown & Williamson as a Software Development Manager and was recognized for three straight years of delivering over $5 million in software development projects, on-time and on-budget. While there, he co-founded Cpons.com, which grew into one of the Internet’s largest online discount golf communities supporting more than 750 golf courses in all 50 states and 820,000 golfers as members. In 2001, Guillory began working for CheckFree Corporation. While there, he launched two new businesses, grew sales by 530 percent in the first two years on one product line, drove the company’s flagship product from early adopters to a mainstream consumer base of over 25 million consumers, built a new emergency payments business, and turned around a flat-lined business for a seven-fold growth plan.
Mr. Guillory has a Bachelor of Computer Science and MBA training from Mercer University.
Lorraine S. Bassett
Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Over the last 20 years, Ms. Bassett has designed, built, managed and executed global technology and business development initiatives for organizations as diverse as EMC, System Management ARTS, the Confluence Group, Concord Communications, and Compaq Computers. More recently, she has managed global system integrator and reseller partnerships including Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, Dimension Data and Siemens Business Services worldwide. Bassett’s responsibilities have included partner strategy development and execution, global revenue responsibilities for the partners, regional account mapping within in-country team management and executing lead generation programs with the partners throughout the world.
Bassett has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Hertfordshire University, Hatfield, UK, a Diploma in Management and an MBA from Henley Management College, Henley-On-Thames, UK.
Scott Mewett
Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Mewett brings nearly twenty years of experience in the software development industry, including over a decade of experience in the design, implementation and management of enterprise class software and services. At Symantec (a Fortune 500 company), Mr. Mewett led the engineering management efforts for a web-based application framework supported by over thirty Symantec and 3rd party enterprise management solutions and deployed at thousands of businesses worldwide. Mr. Mewett has also served as director of engineering at Altiris, chief software architect, and a number of other senior management, architecture and development roles. Mr. Mewett also has an extensive background in computer systems security and is a credited inventor of multiple US patents relating to network and computer security.
Mr. Mewett has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Computer Systems) from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
James H. Strayer
Vice President Product Management and Marketing
Mr. Strayer joins Racemi with over a decade of product management and marketing experience in the IT Service Management industry. At Fortune 500 company Symantec, he led product management efforts for the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) business and worked with key OEM strategic partners such as HP and Dell. Previously, at Altiris, a leader in IT Lifecycle Management solutions, his go-to-market strategies fostered exponential revenue growth to over $200 million in annual license revenue. Under his direction, the Altiris product line also led Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Leader Waves for IT Lifecycle Management, Asset Management, Service Desk, and Server Management and won numerous industry awards, including multiple Network Computing "Product of the Year" awards.
Mr. Strayer graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Life Sciences.
Charles T. Watt
Founder, Chief Technology Officer, & Board Member
Mr. Watt has more than 30 years of experience in the implementation and management of complex software projects. Prior to founding Racemi, Mr. Watt was Chief Scientist of S1 Technologies, Chief Scientist of SecureWare, and President of IIO Systems. He has designed and implemented Internet financial applications including the world's first Internet bank (SFNB), military-grade secure operating systems, cryptographic products for email and IP networking, anti-virus products, medical imaging systems, robotic control systems, and industrial controls.
Mr. Watt is a graduate of Dartmouth College (A.B., and B.E) and the Thayer School of Engineering with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Arun Gore
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Gore brings 30 years of experience in information and communications technology and social venture capital investing in both America and India, including experience as a member of the executive team at T‐Mobile USA where he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Cook Inlet T‐Mobile. Arun also brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience as the prior owner and manager of a number of successful start‐up businesses. Since 2008, Arun has worked with Grey Ghost Ventures as managing director of GGVs Social Venture Fund's management, international operations, portfolio development and social and financial value creation.i
Arun completed his undergraduate studies in his native India where he graduated with dual degrees; a B.S. in Science and a B.S. in Accounting. He completed post‐graduate studies in the United States and holds an MBA in Finance.
David Buckel
Director
For more than fifteen years, Mr. Buckel has served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of public and private companies in the IT, software, Internet based and technology industries. Specifically, Mr. Buckel served as CFO for Ryla Inc., a fast growing call center solutions provider that was acquired. He also served as CFO for Internap Network Services, an industry leader in route control technology and a provider of high-performance solutions for business critical applications and AppliedTheory Inc., a publicly-traded applications hosting and Web Services Company that went from start-up through an IPO. Mr. Buckel has hands-on experience creating accounting and control systems and processes, financial statements, financial and operating metrics, dashboards, cash flow forecast, budget processes, trend analysis and dealing with auditors. He has worked under a wide range of circumstances from startup ventures, consolidations and turnaround situations to leading fast growing profit driven corporations. Mr. Buckel also has extensive experience in SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, deal structure and investor presentations, investor relations management, both buy side and sell side M&A, including developing business cases, financial forecasting and the capital markets.
Mr. Buckel is currently on the board of directors of SouthPeak Gaming (public company), zobee Inc. and Racemi Inc., serving as the audit committee chair for these three companies. Mr. Buckel received his MBA in operations management and finance from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Canisius College. He is a Certified Management Accountant.
Milton E. Cooper
Director
Mr. Cooper has served on numerous boards and committees throughout his career, including the Identix board since 2001. In February 2004, he was appointed Chairman. Cooper is also the immediate past Chairperson for the Secretary of the Army's National Science Center Advisory Board. In 2002, he was recognized as the "20 Year Outstanding Industry Executive" by Government Computer News (a Washington Post Company).
From 1992 until his retirement in June 2001, Cooper served as President, Federal Sector for Computer Sciences Corporation ("CSC"), one of the largest systems integrators for federal government agencies and a leading supplier of custom software for aerospace and defense applications. Under his leadership, CSC's Federal Sector grew to more than 17,000 information technology professionals and accounted for approximately 25 percent of CSC's fiscal year 2001 annual revenues of $10.5 billion. Cooper joined Systems Group, the predecessor organization to CSC's Federal Sector, in 1984, as Vice President, Program Development. Prior to joining CSC, Cooper served in various marketing and general management positions at IBM Corporation, Telex Corporation and Raytheon Company.
Cooper has served on numerous committees and organizations, including Chairman, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA); Chairman, Secretary of the Army's National Science Center Advisory Board; Member of the board of directors of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA); and National Defense Industrial Association and the USO. Cooper is a graduate of West Point.
Robert A. Pattillo
Director
In 2003, Mr. Pattillo established and funded Gray Ghost, a $50 million social investment portfolio focused in the field of microfinance and having the vision, “Capital in the Service of all People.” In this portfolio, Pattillo’s serves as a “partner” to the enterprises he invests in and those who work within them, helping to emphasize the enterprise as a living, breathing professional community. As part of his role, Pattillo invites others to coinvest in these enterprises in the hopes they find the personal fulfillment that comes with investing for both financial and social return.
Pattillo also chairs The Rockdale Foundation (RF), a charitable foundation established in 1995 with his wife, Katy. RF’s grantmaking is focused on education and microfinance, a “business-like, market-oriented, and self-sustaining” response to poverty, with a commitment to the Middle East/North Africa as a place where the needs are great and the resources are relatively thin. RF is the founding partner of the Arab microfinance network, SANABEL.
For the prior 20 years, Pattillo headed property development businesses based in Atlanta. In 1994, he founded Robert Pattillo Properties to focus on the development of distribution centers across the United States and developed 12,000,000 SF over the life of the enterprise. He sold the enterprise in 2004 to devote his time and energies fully to Gray Ghost.
Pattillo is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Harvard Owner/President Management Program, and a past participant in Leadership DeKalb, Leadership Georgia, and the Regional Leadership Institute.
