DynaCenter-RSR stands ready to recover any server that should fail. It allows you to periodically capture images from each of your production servers while monitoring their health. In the event that a server does fail, DynaCenter-RSR detects the failure and automatically deploys a replacement copy of the image to a server in the designated recovery pool. As a result, your recovery time is shortened and costs are greatly reduced.
Faster Recovery
DynaCenter-RSR can provision to and from both servers booting from internal storage and servers booting from the network. An image can be deployed to a server in two ways: DynaCenter can deploy the image over the network onto a server’s bootable storage, or when using SAN or NAS boot, you can deploy the image to a different server with nearly instant RTO and RPO. You can also deploy copies of the same image to multiple servers, providing each with a unique personality.
At a Lower Cost
Costs remain low because you do not need dedicated recovery servers. A single recovery server can be used to recover any of the production servers, so long as they are a part of the same processor family. DynaCenter can also recover an image to older or lower capacity hardware, further reducing infrastructure requirements and costs. It’s also important to consider the reduction in manual labor and the lost productivity associated with application downtime.
With More Certainty
And perhaps most important of all, you can prove that you are protected. Simply deploy an image to a recovery server using a “test” deployment and you can bring up the application within an isolated environment, verifying its operation.
